Originally presented as part of the 2008 summer series at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York, "Love, Loss, & What I Wore" quickly captured the hearts of audiences and critics alike. Its subsequent Off-Broadway production at the Westside Theatre in New York became a smash hit, earning rave reviews and accolades including the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience. Now, this celebrated production comes to our stage, offering audiences a chance to experience the beauty and poignancy of these timeless stories firsthand.

DIRECTED BY JULIE MEYER

Julie has been involved in some form of theatre for over 50 years. While she is normally behind the scenes, she has been on stage a few times. Directing is somewhat new for her. She has directed and written scripts for church Christmas plays and Vacation Bible School. Having the opportunity to direct Love, Loss and What I Wore is an exciting endeavor. The play consists of a variety of monologues as women recall what they were wearing during difficult as well as happy times in their lives. The clothes we wear often “define” who we are or want to be and help us recall memories that impacted our lives. The play is being performed during International Women’s Month – a fitting tribute to all women hold dear and close to our hearts.
